Masasa Beach

I was once a beach-hater, but I really can't figure out what kind of sorcery happened - I love the sea so much now!

Aside from Baler, which is my favorite destination, I always recommend this beach somewhere in Batangas province to my family and friends. It is part of municipality of Mabini in Tingloy Island. It is home of white fine sands and pristine blue waters, colorful fishes and numerous marine life, and hospitable, accommodating, beautiful people. Ladies, and gentlemen, Masasa Beach.

Obviously, I adore Masasa Beach so much I have to create a wonderful opening speech for it. Kidding aside, this beach lies after rice paddies at the foot of a hill. You don't need to imagine, I'll let you check some of the photos I have.

Do you want to see what the beach looks like?

Just like a swimming pool, it's so clear!

Not only bumming and sealing your lazy asses by the shore, you can try water activities like island hopping and Snorkeling! I told you, BIODIVERSITY!!!!

Masasa has hidden beauty not only above the sea, but also underneath it. Ariel could've stayed here if she's real. So here are some other photos of us enjoying Masasa Beach

Our first Masasa Visit

Second Masasa Visit. (Me not included on this photo)

Earlier this March 2017, an announcement has reached us that setting up of tent is prohibited from 7pm to 6pm. Some says it is because of an incident where one camper was caught smoking Marijuana, but my friend, a Masasa Local, told me that it is because of the high volume of tents pitched during weekends, as well as the volume of trashes left by them.

READERS! Remember the rules of traveling! LEAVE NO TRACE. No one will swipe it off the beach, and you might kill a fish, or even a pawikan, just because of a piece your junk.

We always recommend to get a transient or homestay in Masasa or in Tingloy. The price ranges from 300-400 per person.
